Biscuit Bombs with Store-bought biscuit dough

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Biscuit bombs with home-made buttermilk biscuits are quite easy to make as explained in my posting on Biscuit Bombs.

They can be made even more easily with large store-bought biscuit dough.  Each of the doughs should be flattened out to about a 6 inch circle and then a covered by a layer of shredded cheddar cheese. (About a one-inch scoop full.) The cheese should be pressed into the dough. Then 3 half links of cooked breakfast sausage should be put in a pyramid on top of the dough, which should be folded over the filling. Make sure there are no holes for the cheese to leak out from.  Bake about 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
